STRATHVAC is a Scottish based Central Vacuum Supply and Installation company.  We pride ourselves on our 'local' approach to the consultation, supply, and installation of your new Central vacuum System.  We have been installing Systems since 2006 and were established in 2008 as a local dealership of the United Kingdom wide Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd who are the biggest distributers in the UK and we are the sole Scottish dealer of Vario Vac, selling to you the highest quality Central Vacuum Systems manufactured in Germany not China like some of our competitors.

Our office team are responsible for the day to day financial running of the business although they are always at hand to answer any queries you have regarding products, consultations, quotations, or supply only deals that are NOT just available on the internet but to any customer across Scotland.

We are the only Scottish Central Vacuum Company who use a team of qualified installers whom are employed by STRATHVAC unlike our competitors who use sub-contractors. This is important as we are asked to repair Systems on a regular basis usually due to wrong installation techniques. Our team are time served tradesmen, are conversant with all aspects of the construction industry and will be able to help with any kind of installation whether in a timber kit or a victorian terrace, an apartment, nursing home, hospital, offices, static caravans or even an oil platform . Yes this system is so versatile that it can meet the needs of even our fussiest client. For this reason STRATHVAC are the only Scottish Central Vacuum company who can offer you a life time guarantee against blockages.

We offer a repair and maintenence service for both our own system and any systems previously installed for you by other companies.  80% of all central vacuum problems queries we receive are a result of poor installation from untrained installers. However, our own systems usually only needs serviced in high use areas e.g. hotels, nursing homes and the like.  Even in such high use areas our repairs are not generally required until after the expiry of our warranty some 10/15 years after installation and almost always only require new brushes at a cost of £30 + fitting.   

If you have a problem with your system, whether it was installed by us or not, you can call us and we can fault find with you on the phone, as this quite often highlights a simple problem which can be fixed by you in a few minutes and saves you any call out charge.

A Central Vacuum System is a 21st century product which is steadily becoming as common as central heating in new homes.  The next decade will see the Central Vacuum be the next must have UK home cleaning product as has already happened in most of Europe, Canada and the USA.

The system costs less than 1% of the total build cost, adds value to a new build and is VAT free in a new build as it’s an integral part of the house.
