STRATHVAC is a Scottish based Central Vacuum Supply and Installation company.  We pride ourselves on our 'local' approach to the consultation, supply, and installation of your new Central Vacuum System. 

We have been installing Systems since 2006 and were established in 2008 as a local dealership of the United Kingdom wide Central Vacuum Solutions Ltd who are the biggest distributers in the UK and we are the sole Scottish dealer of Studio 'Tubo range, selling to you the highest quality Central Vacuum Systems manufactured in Europe not China like our competitors.

John is responsible for all on site consultations and as lead installer he oversees all works undertaken to ensure the highest quality of service to you the customer because if you are happy we are happy.

Our office team are responsible for the day to day financial running of the business although they are always at hand to answer any queries you have regarding products, consultations, quotations, or supply only deals that are NOT just available on the internet but to any customer in the UK.

Our team are timeserved tradesmen, are conversant with all aspects of the construction industry and will be able to help with any kind installation. Whether in a timber kit villa or a victorian terrace, an apartment, Nursing home, Hospital, Offices, Car wash/Valet centres, Class 10 clean rooms, Gospel halls, and even an Oil Platform TLQ. No job is to big OR too small.

Our systems are so versatile they can be installed in any building inside or out.

Recently we supplied a system to a Oil rig accommodation unit which was built in Aberdeen and Newcastle by a UK company. This unit was then shipped by sea to a location of the coast of Australia. As with all large corporations we are waiting on permission to use the oil company's logo and testamonial from them

We offer a repair and maintenance service for both our own systems and any systems installed previously by you or another company. (Please note we do-not repair uprights, Dyson's, Hoovers ect) 80% of all our Central Vacuum problems and queries we receive are a result of poor installation from untrained installers. Our systems is so easy to install if you take your time and think the process through (a rule of thumb is 50% planning 50& installation) however some of our competitors use sub-contractors who tend to rush the job as they are usually on a day rate which in turn ends up with the customer calling us further down the line.

Our own systems do not require servicing however high use areas such as Hospitals, car wash/Valet centres and Nursing homes may require this as the operator may not be conversant on how to clean filters ect. Even in high use our repairs are not generally required until after the waranty expires some 10/15 years after installation and almost always only require new brushes at a cost of £30 + fitting.

If you have a problem with your system, whether it was installed by us or not, you can call us and we can fault find with you on the phone, as this quite often highlights a simple problem which can be fixed by you in a few minutes and saves you any call out charge.

 A Central Vacuum System is a 21st century product which is steadily becoming as common as central heating in new homes.  The next decade will see the Central Vacuum be the next must have UK home cleaning product as has already happened in most of Europe, Canada and the USA.

The system costs less than 1% of the total build cost, adds value to a new build and is VAT free in a new build as it’s an integral part of the house.
