How does the system work?
-
The system consists of a power unit (usually installed unobtrusively in the garage, utility, loft, basement or cupboards) which is up to 5 times more powerful than a standard upright vacuum, a run of 50mm pipe & 2 core 12V wire concealed within the stud work and a selection of inlets strategically placed to maximise range of use of system. Then all you have to do to make use of the system is transport the light weight manageable 35mm remote controlled hose to their chosen location and plug it into the face plates on the inlet and clean floors, stairs, in and around awkward corners, blinds, ceilings, even light fittings all with No Noise, No Smell, No Dust, More Powerful and No dirty upright to push around the house.
-
Can the system get blocked?
-
This is the most frequently asked question.
Blockages in this system are highly unlikely due to the varied pipe diameter between the 25mm switched head through to 50mm pipe therefore anything that could get potentially blocked will be at floor level and can easily be retrieved, in addition a special sharp 90° elbow is located behind every inlet as a second line of defense this is the only place where we install a sharp 90° so if anything gets past this point it will go directly to the unit for this reason Strathvac can offer a lifetime guarantee against blockage in the pipe if the system is fitted by our trained installers or consulted when fitting.
